Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain – 28 March 2026: Foulath Holding, an industrial holding company with major steel investments and the parent company of Bahrain Steel and SULB, hereby announces a Force Majeure situation affecting certain Group operations as a result of the ongoing regional conflict in the Middle East and the associated security and logistical disruptions.
The evolving situation in the region, including airspace restrictions, disruption to maritime routes, and heightened security risks, has created circumstances beyond the Group’s control that have impacted operations and logistics across parts of the Group’s business.
The campaign highlights the importance of recycling as a responsible practice that supports environmental protection, reduces waste, and conserves natural resources, reflecting Bahrain’s commitment to environmental sustainability. It also emphasizes shared responsibility between government entities, the private sector, and the community in adopting recycling practices to reduce pollution and protect the environment.
As a precautionary measure and in the interest of the safety and wellbeing of employees, contractors and stakeholders, the Group has taken the decision to temporarily suspend certain operational activities until conditions allow for safe and secure resumption of operations.
Foulath Holding emphasizes that this decision is purely precautionary and driven by safety considerations and external circumstances beyond the Group’s control.
The Group is closely monitoring the situation and will continue to assess developments and communicate with its customers, suppliers, partners and stakeholders as more information becomes available.
Foulath Holding values its long-standing relationships with its stakeholders and appreciates their understanding and cooperation during this period.
