Eng. Ahmed Sabt Kalifa is the Chief Operations Officer at Qatar Steel, with over 28 years of experience in the steel industry. Eng. Ahmed holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He oversees manufacturing and plant maintenance operations, focusing on efficiency and excellence of Electric Arc Furnace (EAF), DRI/HBI, and long steel products. Additionally, he serves as Vice-Chairman of SULB Company BSC, Director and General Manager of Al Qataria for Production of Reinforcing Steel (QSTEEL), and Chief Operations Officer of Qatar Metals Coating Company (Q-COAT).
