Jaafar Ebrahim is the General Manager – Downstream Operations at SULB Company B.S.C (Closed), where he oversees all downstream plant operations, including steel melting, hot rolling, and finishing lines. His responsibilities include ensuring product quality, optimizing production efficiency, and maintaining safe, reliable, and cost- effective operations across the facility.
With over 28 years of experience in the steel and aluminum industries, Jaafar has held several managerial and technical positions in reputable organizations, leading teams in quality control, engineering, and operations management.
He possesses extensive expertise in operations management, engineering, production scheduling, SAP integration, project execution, and manufacturing processes, with a strong focus on quality assurance and continuous improvement.
Throughout his career, Jaafar has successfully implemented strategic initiatives that enhanced operational performance, including developing long-term MIS systems for management review, optimizing production capacity and product mix, and applying ABC analysis to minimize downtime. His operational enhancements have consistently improved efficiency, reduced costs, and elevated product quality standards.
