Dilip George is an accomplished business leader with over 35 years of experience, including 25 years in the steel industry. A Chartered Accountant by qualification, he has a proven track record in corporate strategy, transforming businesses, driving profitability, and building high-performing teams across the Middle East.
Dilip currently serves as Group CEO of Foulath Holding, a leading steel investment group based in Bahrain, with operations spanning the full steel value chain, including Bahrain Steel and SULB. Under his leadership, Bahrain Steel’s sales volumes doubled, and Foulath’s EBITDA tripled between 2017 and 2024. He has spearheaded strategic initiatives such as business acquisition, long-term raw material agreements, GCC market expansions, integrating sustainability principles into core business practices and digital transformation.
His earlier roles include serving as CFO of Methanol Chemical Company in Saudi Arabia, where he led major financings, a successful IPO, and a dramatic financial turnaround of the group’s steel division.
Known for his strategic vision, financial acumen, and people-centric leadership, Dilip brings deep expertise in M&A, project finance, operational turnaround, and corporate governance.
