Manama, Bahrain – November 9, 2025: Foulath Holding, an industrial holding company with major steel investments, and parent company of Bahrain Steel and SULB, has been awarded the Golden License by the Kingdom of Bahrain. This recognition highlights Foulath’s continued contribution to the Kingdom’s industrial development and commitment to advancing sustainability through innovation and green energy.
The announcement was made during Gateway Gulf 2025, held at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay on 2 & 3 November, where the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) unveiled four new Golden License projects across technology, real estate, and green manufacturing. Developed by leading companies within each field, these projects represent a total investment value of USD 4.4 billion and are expected to create over 1,100 job opportunities, further supporting Bahrain’s economic diversification agenda.
As part of its Golden License project, Foulath Holding will expand its existing facility to develop a specialized solar project through the construction of a state-of-the-art shed structure. This initiative aligns with the company’s long-term strategy to integrate sustainable energy solutions into its operations, reduce environmental impact, and contribute to Bahrain’s national sustainability goals.
